Woodland Yoga for Spring Equinox
You are invited to come home to your nature and the nature around us in this celebration of Spring Equinox. Nature comes into balance, recognising the opposites creating the whole. We will meet and cross the threshold into a beautiful private woodland in Bredwardine, celebrating and giving thanks to this place that holds us and the elements.
Earth beneath our feet,
Air on our skin and filling our lungs,
Fire in our bellies and in the power of the springtime sun,
Water flowing within and around hydrating us.
this time of year reminds us that whatever we give our attention to, will grow
I will guide you into the ancient art of Yoga; breathing practices, movement and meditation, finishing with a woodland herb tea ceremony.
Bridget has been teaching yoga for 23years and loves bringing her passion for this ancient practice and nature together.
Forget your mat, wear comfortable warm layers, waterproofs and mudproof shoes. Bring a waterproof thing to sit on (for example a black plastic bag and small cushion) and a mug.

Spring Equinox marks the time when day and night are equal, heralding the end of winter and change, the sun’s power is waxing and the days to come are longer and warmer.
Please meet at Carpark in Dorstone opposite The Pandy Inn at 5.15pm to lift share as parking at the Stone is limited.

We will walk in the twilight down to the Pandy Inn, in Dorstone after the ceremony. Please wear appropriate footwear and waterproof clothes.
